90-second demo

Short tour. No noise.

Built for serious fiction writers

For people finishing books, not collecting prompts.

Mockingbird is for novelists, short story writers, and literary obsessives who care about cadence, structure, and private draft space.

It respects sentence-level concentration while still helping with long-form architecture. Calm surface. Hard-working underneath.

Founder note

Writing software should protect solitude.

I started Mockingbird because too many writing tools began to feel like software for managing software. Tabs, prompts, social surfaces, subscriptions, clutter. Fiction needs steadier company.

This editor is being shaped around private drafts, visible structure, and clean text ownership. Something durable enough for long novels. Quiet enough for difficult pages.

Founder, Mockingbird
